Is this a white faced animal? or is there white around eyes?
Are they grazing in a lot of tall weeds if so cut it down or spray it.
Gentamicin is a good pinkeye med,Get the animal up in headgate manually open the eyelid and spray with Gentamicin. Depending how bad it is you may want to cover the eye with a loose flap of cloth. I have seen bovine pinkeye patches before also.
