I am having trouble with pinkeye. I was wondering if anyone else is. I live in southwest mo. if you are having problems, what are you using to treat it.

We're in the MO Ozarks and this year has been the same for pinkeye for us as it has in past years. None. Neighbors are having about the same problems as in previous years. We use back wipes with diesel and permectrin, minerals with CTC and Rabon, clip pastures to reduce seed head irritation, and rotate every few days to a week from pasture to pasture.

Our South Devons and Herefords are subject to it. It usually occurs when there is more grass about or when it dry and dusty. We find the most successful treatment is generally one application of Orbenin eye ointment. We have tried eye patches these are not very successful. Good Luck Colin
