(PICS) Bull Calves

Had 3 more bull calves born...

Looks like this calf has some angus in him? We have no idea where the angus came from - there are no angus bulls in the area - Sire is full blood SIMM - The mom doesn't have any angus in her either - we've never had any angus in our herd - he is also pretty small

This bull calf on the other hand is much bigger than the other "angus" calf...he was sticking his tongue out at me when I took the pic

Now back to smaller calves, long legged calves - this calf's mom is rather old but we knew she was bred so we decided to give her another year

Nice calves K2011,

I'm partial to the balck bakdy looking one.

Sometimes those older momas can be still be worth keeping
 
I don't see any Angus in that calf...what made you think that? Nice calves, they look vigorous, especially the second one!
 
I don't know - just thought since he was small and red with a red/pink nose he was more than likely angus...considering he is from a very painted bull and a very painted cow...who has a painted mom...idk why i thought that
