Seems like a 50/50 type thing... Some have names, some don't. Guess it would be up to you.I can see it now. Denoginnizer Land and Cattle Co. :roll: :lol:

I think most people name their farms/ranches after an identifing feature. We used to call the ranch Petticoat Acres because all the hired help was female. The place we have now is Whip & Spur Farm because Dad is a twin to the damn Energizer Bunny and nobody can keep up with him. Just my thoughts.

dad and mine's brand is a rocking H, so it became Rockin' H Cattle Co.

I'd think that you'd need a name so people could recognize you if you're selling something (registered stock, beef, tomatoes) directly off your place. But if you're just carrying your calves to the sale barn, it probably doesn't matter to anyone but you.
