Well after a good amount of time on the phone and three weekends of visiting farms we picked our next bull. He is a Simm-Angus sired by Lock-N-Load. We will pick him up in about three weeks and hopefully I can post some pictures at that time.

Post pics when you get them! We have a Lock n Load embryo calf due next month, pretty excited about that one. It has been sexed a bull, and is by the Lazy H Misti cow, so some good genetics!
Now with that said, I have seen some pretty shabby Lock n Load calves! So hit and miss, I just hope ours is a hit!!! Congrats!

Congrats on the new Bull Dale. Looking foward to the pics. May have asked earlier what breed of cows he'll be on.
I kinda enjoy Bull shopping. The last one I bought I'm not too keen on right now. Afraid he may be a bust. Good luck with yours. I think the SimAngus is a good cross but it's been hinted I may be a breed pimp.

He will me breeding mostly heavy angus influenced cows. We had considered a Maine Anjou but we just couldn't find one we liked. Not too many to choose from and had traveled as much as three hours away to look. We hope this bull works for us. We had thought about a pure Simmental but just really liked this bull so we will see.
