I dunno about in ya'lls areas but we've had an abundance of Peta roadside billboard type signs go up, 5 that we know of and several of them have been doctored to promote BEEF instead. But as a good friend of ours said that be nice isn't tolerated in Rural America. Just wondering what they are pulling everywhere else.

PETA doesn't usually spend a lot of money in Rural America. They target kids and teenagers mostly in urban areas. Areas where the only contact people have with animals is their pets. During the tour of their "Holocaust on your Plate" program, at several stops in MT and WY, cattlemen had hamburger cookouts across the street from their display. I'm in a very rural area and don't remember ever having actually seen a PETA sign. The meat industry is starting to fight back a bit. There is a website http://www.petakillsanimals.com that is getting some play on the internet. And the arrest of some of their employees for dumping dead animals has them a bit on the defensive.

Have any of yall ever seen the HBO show Penn & Teller's Bull BeNice? Great show. I've seen 2 episodes, don't know how old they are, though. One was showing the facts that recycling actually uses more natural resources than producing a completely new product. They also had one about PETA. It was great. Show the facts of all the animals that they take in, and how most of them dont make it out. They also showed all the lies and how they tell all their propaganda b.s. to kids and what not. It was a cool show.
