Percentage Simbrah Bull Calf

This is my favorite calf of the season. Photo was taken at 4 months old. The only calf that didn't get cut. His lucky day. His mom was horned and sire was homozygous polled, but he at least has scurs. If he was horned, would they be attached at this point? Scab like at this point in time.

To answer your question - no, to be horned they wouldn't have to necessarily be attatched at this point, but I would think if he were going to be horned, that they would be more developed as far as length by now. Just from looking at his poll, he appears scurred to me.
