Penn State Hazing

Penn State is the Capital for negative college press.

Not long ago there was this:

The Penn State child sex abuse scandal was an incident in which Jerry Sandusky, a former assistant football coach for the Penn State Nittany Lions, was charged and convicted of multiple counts of sexual abuse of children.

Now this hazing death. One of the more egregious I can remember.

The hazing was extreme, but if they had sought medical attention for the guy, it sounds like he would have made it. Instead----------They get bust covering it up.

I read a pretty detailed article explaining what transpired. There were a few people present that wanted to call EMTs but they were ridiculed by upperclassmen and their own peers. Basically were chided with "There are guys here that are 3rd year medical--they know more than you do about health problems".

It was a hard read.
I see it as similar to Baylor's long entrenched problems that brought down Art Briles.
