Pears for a horse

Is it okay to give a horse a pear or two. Not sure :?:

It's Ok as long as you don't overdo it.

Our horses love them. We have a pear tree that last year yielded a 55 gallon drums worth.

My husband would throw the cores and duds over the fence to the horses. They would smack and drool their enjoyment.

The tree is loaded again this year ;-)

Horses like watermelon too.

Our horses love pears. They seem to know when enough is enough though and dont overdo it. They would eat a few then go back to the grass.
