Once upon a time gas stations were called Service Stations.

A long gone old Uncle's first job off the farm was at a service station.
Fill the tank, wash the windshield, check the wipers for wear, check the oil
and the tires. Tires were a big one because every service station sold tires.

Prostate Cancer is the 2nd most common cancer in U.S. men after #1 skin cancer.
86% of men diagnosed with prostate cancer die from some other cause.

70% with advanced metastatic prostate cancer die within 5 years.
LU-PSMA-617 is a new treatment and when added to traditional treatment
patients survived on average 4 months longer than traditional care alone
with 60% living on average 5.6 months longer.
Novartis expects LU-PSMA-617 to generate 1 billion dollars a year.

I understand nobody wants to die and that every life is precious, but it does
give me pause to wonder about end of life care and the value of prolonging life
4-6 months verses quality of life and the resources expended to do it.

I was a video today on treating nephropathy. One of the presenters said, "We don't have heath care, we have maintenance care." Just get more medicine to maintain.

May 2021 Teens 16-19 unemployment rate 9.6% the lowest since 1953 (68 yrs)
April 2021 teen unemployment was 12.4%

5.5 million teens are working, mostly in restaurant and service industries.
A couple hundred thousand of them have replaced adults who for whatever reason have chosen to not yet return to work after the pandemic.
