> Thanks, Andrew There is a lot of vaibles to selecting the best forage for a pasture. However, in general tall fescue will probably work best in a number of situations. It will handle drought or wet situations better than orchard grass. It has a longer productive life than the rye grasses. The most common recommendation that we make here is tall fescue with New Zealand white clover. The only problem is that tall fescue is a little slow to get established. Talk to your local extension agent or conservation district and they can give you what will work best in your location. Dave
