...the bottom line that is. Had to buy some hay.
Hay guy number 1 didn't have all the hay we wanted/needed this year due to the drought. But bless his heart, he only raised the price $5 per bale. So we call hay guy number 2. He says, got you covered, just call me when you are ready to move it because I don't keep a tractor over there. Ok, so 2 weeks ago we call. Poor guy is in the hospital, he is an older fella, but says he will have his son call and make arrangements to get the hay. Son never called. So we had to buy some off of craigslist and it was pricey! But the cloud might have a silver lining - hay guy number 3 delivered the hay and he seemed real interested in some heifers we have for sale. So I will give him just as good a price on those heifers as he gave us on the hay. :cowboy:
