Has anybody tried to use the organic "roundup"? its a mixture of salt, vinegar, and liquid soap. if you have, how were the results?

What are you trying to kill? I've used vinegar 10% and orange oil. Will set back most weeds if they are in the sun. Have also sprayed it in a hay field during December to kill the spring weeds. I think there are better ways to control weeds, but it worked ok. I would not use salt.

i was thinking about maybe trying it on a fence row. this recipe is not good for spot spraying tho, because the salt keeps anything from growing back for a long time, supposedly.

Never used it. But if I remember my chemistry correctly, doesn't Organic Chemistry refer to carbon and hydrogen based chemistry? And don't most herbicides have carbon in their makeup. Therefore, am I not using an Organic Herbicide when I use something like roundup? (C3H8NO5P)

So I guess I do run an Organic Operation afterall!
