One of the homekill people here said they all charge by weight, so, yeah, no advantage with huge animals, smaller fits the bill.
The prices in supermarkets never add up, someone is making a lot, I only got 30 to 40 for good sized sheep, it costs 30 plus for 2lbs here......
One guy got only 15 bucks....
I did get 100 to 130 sometimes for full size ...
The supermarket chains have fingers and hands everywhere, they squeeze farmers to death here on things like milk.
