Heres a couple of pics Home here in Ontario, I know lots of people here are having problems with drought, and we were last year, nothing at all compared to yous' but this snow is nice to see for us, If only we could send it down your way I would be much happier with it. Earlier this week and last week we have been having +6 Celcius weather, gross really for this tiem of year, all the snow disappeared and then the ice formed, it was dangerous, you could literly skate around the barn yard, dodging the odd pile of crap, but ti was still slippery. And the cows really don't care when you wipe out and slid on your butt right to them eatting at the round bale feeder  they just look at you.

So here they are:

Want to trade you some of our weather for yours?

Third day of minus 25 degrees and nice brisk north wind to go with it. Choring with two scarfs over my face lately.
(Never fails because cows are due to start calving in a week and a half.)

The weatherliars are forecasting a chinook wind for this afternoon and I sure hope they are right! ;-)

Take care.

Nice fotos, thanks for sharing. Like your cattle.
My dad's family place was in Marysville, somewhere around Kingston, Deserento and Belleville been 50ys ago so hard to remember the directions. Was a small dairy operation and family farm.

Thanks, Our Cattle are mainly just crossbred beef cows, but a few limo's and herfords.

I don't mind this weather at all I would take it over the -25, we had those temperatures a few weeks ago.

I live about 1.5 -2 hours away from Kingston/Belleville, not to far away from here.
