We were able to get some hay done. Mowed down some pitiful wheat that had grass broadcast in it on Friday afternoon last week. Saturday evening a big old storm cloud rolled in, dark black, and lots of lighting, but it drifted right over us. Monday evening raked and baled it. This morning we got a 1/4" of rain. Might be the only hay we get done this year, but thank the Lord we got something done, between rains.

Had to rake with a red tractor this time since my 3010 sprang a radiator leak.

We got a decent stretch of weather to make some here but it was thin. Probably a 65-75% yield. Do you think all the rain set your grass back? We need some now we are drying out pretty good.

The new plantings of grass were set back quite a bit from the slow start from the rain, and the wheat needed a couple feet less of rain. The established grass stands are doing good even with all of rain, but they are starting to mature. Probably be well matured before anything gets done with it.

Also to note I'm going to plant some 30 pounds of soybeans into this, as soon as I can get back on it.
