LivestockJudge.com is the first website to offer a NATIONAL ONLINE LIVESTOCK JUDGING CONTEST.

We hope that you find this contest fun and educational.

We would like to thank Colorado State University, New Mexico State University and Butler County Community College. These outstanding institutions have provided the classes, officials and reasons for the 2004 National Online Livestock Judging Contest.

We are very excited about this contest with Tuition Scholarships to be awarded to the Top 3 Junior Division Online Judgers. The Junior Division will be everyone 17 years and younger. Scholarships will be made payable to the University of the winners choice.

The Open Division lets the parents, teachers, Ag agents, college students the opportunity to compete to qualify for SHOOT-OUT where the Top 10 Online Judgers will compete in a LIVE animal contest at the National Western Stock Show in 2005 for prizes as follows:

GRAND PRIZE - 2004 SuperCab, 4X4 Pickup Truck
2ND PLACE - 2004 24 ft Gooseneck Stock Trailer
3RD PLACE - 2004 4-Wheeler ATV

What an excellent idea.
The Highland cattle breeders have been doing this for the past couple of years. It emanated from the foot and mouth problems in the UK. Breeders had no cattle exhibitions to attend, so innovation stepped in,by way of the internet.
Australian Highland cattle and German cattle did well this last year.
