Here is one of my balancer bulls doing what bulls do. I got tired of following him around and just took a picture . He's 100% forage developed (no grain) from Cedar Top Ranch, in the heart of the Nebraska sandhills. I also have his little brother. ;-)

How long have you used Balancer bulls? What are you using them on?

good bull and genetic's that work on quality forage. but i wonder how he would have done on alabama grass. i know it would take longer to reach his current condition. are even would he be able to reach his genetic potentail

This is the first year I've used balancers. My uncle has had quite a few balancer bulls and I like the calves. I've always used purebred gelbvieh, but I thought I'd try em on some of my cows that have more gelbvieh influence. As far as the grass the guy I bought this bull from claims that it isn't that great where he's at.
