I have a 1960 ford 861 diesel tractor. This thing has ran great for the 20 years I have ran it. All of the sudden it starts missing and spitting all in one day. I had the fuel pump rebuilt and replaced the injectors. It still does the same thing. Could I not have the pump timed right? Does anyone have a tractor like this or know anything else I can try? 800 dollars spent and no results.

The only things that comes to mond is bad fuel or a partially blocked air intake

Old Ford diesels have and many others have a fuel screen in the shut off valve in the fuel tank. See if you can remove it and clean it. Mine usually just spitting and then just stops. Make sure (starting at the tank) that fuel system/lines are clean.
