Oil Pressure

Help Support CattleToday:

All good advice. Since oil level is good mechanic suggested changing the sensor/sending unit first. However, I'm going to drain and go back with the CO and another filter first to see if that remedies the problem. Thanks all and I will keep you posted
When you get the oil sender unit..borrow a oil pressure gauge from them ..most have a "loan a tool program"" your already committed won't take but a few minutes to check.. me personally I'd go back with castrol high mileage oil,and good name brand filter..

Not as bad today as it was in the late 70s through the eighties..but the engines then if they made it to 100k,they were worn out..now days high miles over 100k are good for atleast 100+ more..we had them come in the shop that had 300k plus miles..my sons work van had the lifter noise..

Send her to the junk yard, where all Jeeps belong.

Should fix the oil problem.
I disagree bought it new in 04 she's got 155,000 miles and outside of normal maintenance no problems. Granted wouldn't want it as a daily driver but bought it for a toy.
