i was thinking about buying a bull out of him, anyone know anything about him, good or bad. what i have been able to find out is good for what thats worth. thanks David

 

[1914 Hereford]

We used him where we worked in the '90s. Good udders, a lot of milk. Could use some more volume to the cattle and they milked so much that their maintenance requirements were possibly too high for our area.

thats kind of the opposite of my herefords. i think they could milk a little more, and be a little smaller. if i put him with the black cows i think he will help there as well. then i will need to make my mind up where to run the red poll bull.
