We've been punishing drug addicts and petty criminals more harshly than most other first world countries for decades, and it hasn't even begun to make a dent. It sounds good, but we can't lock up or execute enough people to end crime.
It is.Dam shame. There ought to be a Federal law you kill an on duty police officer it is Capital murder.
But capital murder.charges no longer exists in VirginiaIt is.
Thank you.It is time to stand down Brother.
Your watch is over.
Others will take it from here.
May you be safe in God's Arms.
May His Angels look after your family.
RIP
I can't comment on Va law, but by the very definition, it is Capitol Murder. Has Virginia Code 18.2-31 been repealed? But capital murder.charges no longer exists in Virginia

Yes it was repealed in the 2021 legislative session. Can't punish the guilty harshly
I guess we will get to feed the POS.Virginia Becomes First Southern State to Abolish the Death Penalty (Published 2021)
“Ending the death penalty comes down to one fundamental question, one question: Is it fair?” said Gov. Ralph Northam, who signed the bill on Wednesday.www.nytimes.com
Maybe mister Youngkin can work on that for us.I guess we will get to feed the POS.
If I am not mistaken a life sentence isn't but 25 years.Virginia in 2021 repealed the Capital murder which allowed for the death penalty. So the very worst he can get is life sentence. Will cost the taxpayers hundreds of thousands when a bullet behind the ear is cheap even with current ammo prices.
This is the same legislative session that made it legal to grow Marijuana and possess up to 1 ounce. Over an ounce is a $25 fine.
A bullet behind the ear might not solve the whole problem. But sure as he'll will stop repeat offenders and do alot more than is being done now to slow down crime and murder.Virginia in 2021 repealed the Capital murder which allowed for the death penalty. I'm old but I might be waiting in 25 years to see.If I am not mistaken a life sentence isn't but 25 years.
