Nutrition for milking Dexter

My Dexter freshened yesterday morning and she will be my first milker and I want to make sure she is getting the right kind of nutrition. I was looking online and saw that you have to be careful not to give Dexter's to much protein so I was wondering if there are any diary Dexter owners out there that could tell me what they feed. She is given hay, some cattle cubes, and has fresh eating everyday.

The calf will be bottle raised, the mother will be my milking cow.
