Went to check hog trap at daylight, ask myself where is that Jersey?
Got to looking finally found her,
creek bank had gave way and she had fell in.
This is when the fun started.
I got her out finally and she was none to happy. That was one mad Jersey by time I got all the chains and straps off.
She belongs to a little lady at church that raise day olds on.

I am still fighting with her she went down again.
Shot a half tube of calcium down her and pumped her full of complex B. You could see the muscle spasms. That cleared up after treatment.
She is up again and eating.

They are very prone to "milk fever".... even after well into lactation.... Sounds like you are on the right track.... and after any type of trauma like getting stuck etc.... hope she comes back around to normal.

Must be a bad moon.
This morning widow ladies bull is in my woods. Well ran him home to see where he was getting out. Water gap had gotten abused in our monsoon.
Repaired the gap, phone fell off the tractor spent the next hour looking for it. Now it's almost noon before I get the sprayer hooked up. I am getting too old for this.

It may not be that way everyday but sure feels like it sometimes. I must be more determined than I thought I've been at this 30 years and it ain't getting any easier for sure.
I got 20 more on you .
Every time that front number on the odometer changes something quits working.
