Bucket handles. The plastic handles are breaking off of a bunch of our 5 gallon white buckets. Any one come up with a solution?

I was in the tool crib yesterday and counted thirty I haven't even taken the tops off of yet and I probably have another thirty or forty still down on the farm I have brought up yet.

They were close to 5 gals. ones with a lid for $0.50-1.00 each.I think they usually threw them away until they found someone who would pay for 'em. You could try the local bakery and maybe even local restuarants.

I've got a few friends that really pour the Strongid wormer to their horses, so I generally have green 5 gallon buckets with lids coming out of my ears! Fast food joints are also good sources -- they buy pickle slices, etc. in 5 gallon buckets. Those pickle buckets are good for garden use, since you know that nothing potentially harmful was ever in them. Wish I could find a source for freebie 50 gallon blue plastic barrels like the carwash outfits get.
