can anybody give me any info. on normande cattle . i was thinking about ai -ing my murraygrey cow and heifer to one in the spring . i can't seem to find any info. on them. are they a good cow to have ? thank you for any info. MR.
They are pretty much a dairy animal, supposed to perform well on grazing situations. Contact The North American Normande Association

Normande cattle is use mostly as diary cattle but personally I think Normande is a breed of a dual purpose par excellence, can be compared with Simmentals, they have very similar characteristics and Normande milk a bit more, as meat cattle they have low back fat and excellent marbling.
