Weathermen are calling for 12"-16" of snow in our area in a 24 hour period. Suppose to start here in the next couple of hours and go til early Monday morning.
Going to fix some gates to open up the corral with the shed for our pairs.
Glad we kept the youngest one in the barn.

Hey Calman you want to come help us?? :D ;-) :lol2:

Do you think this will be your last snow? I hope you can keep the cold weather up there. I'm kinda enjoying the sound of the frogs at night.

Jo they are saying it is to continue all this week. Got another system off the gulf of Alaska heading our way.
Started raining last night and then the snow started early this morning.

bigbull got the gates open except for one. Will try to get it open this afternoon. It is an easier opening for the pairs to get to the shed. Found some of them in it this morning.

 Herfs, I know exactly what your talking about.
You will do fine, just what we got to do.

We lucked out. A majority of the snow went south of us. Guessing we got around 6", a lot of it melted due to the rain we got before.
Rolled out a straw bale for the pairs and the calves were bedding down in it pretty well.
Wind hit around noon.
Really lucked out, nothing calved, yet.
