19 black steers 406 lbs 3.24 = $1,315 hd
5 black steers 285# @ 3.89 = 1083 hd

How am I suppose to make a living buying feeder steers to finish?

Hmmm....If I can get them to gain a tenth of a pound per day on air...I could take them to 1446 lbs

Where is zumbrota? I'm lost?. Interesting market thought. Here 5wts got that high a couple months ago for a couple weeks. Now a 5wt will top out around 2.70$ and a 400lb calf will bring 3.20$. I have trouble seeing profit in a 1280$ 400lb calf, the 4wts have looked like that all year to me though.

i dont know about yall.but when i get even close to those prices i know im making a ripping good profit.we wont sell again till after the 1st of the year.
