I don't view it that way. No one can "cancel" the culture. Culture is internal to the people. Nikki removed the confederate flag from the state house grounds. The flag was added to the state house in 1961 to "honor" the 100 year anniversary of the START of the civil war. Might have been an ulterior political motive to add it back - you think? Previously, it had not flown at the state house since the end of the civil war. For the almost 100 year period that it did not fly at the state house, was that an indication that someone else had already "canceled" the culture? Is there a desire to go back to the era prior to and during the civil war? Not for me for sure. There is a principle in the Book that if your actions are OK, but those actions cause your brothers to stumble, then it is better to stop those actions than to keep your brothers stumbling. I don't miss the flag at the state house. South Carolina does not fly the British Flag at the state house. Did we cancel that culture as well? Is there a perfect candidate for any office? Have we ever had a perfect president? None that I can remember in my lifetime. But, certainly some have been better and worse than others. In four years, it is my hope that the majority will be ready for a change. The candidate then needs to be one that lead us forward to a more united conservative agenda and needs to be less than 70 years old. And not held back by a mean spirit, liberal socialist ideas, or a lack of intelligence. Just my opinion.
