Nice Afternoon to work heifers

We spent the afternoon working the open heifers today, gave them all their shots, got them wormed weighed, measured and poured. It was a beautiful day to get the first run through the chutes. Next week we will start on the cows, it seems we always run out of day before we run out of work.

That 9R9 looks like a heck of a Bull. How's he do on your heifers?

We don't use him on the heifers his birth weight EPD is a 3.5 and now he is just way to big for the heifers, I swear he gets fat on the air he breathes. He is also a very aggressive breeder so I sure want him on mature cows at this point. Right now I am AI'ing every one of his heifer calves to our Coleman EXT 6149 bull, I really think these calves are going to be good ones. Our bull customers love the bull calves out of 9R9.
