Newman Turner's Fertility Pasture & Fertility Farming Books

Acres USA recently republished these two 1951 era books that tell the story of a turn around dairy. Newman was an early advocate of organic methods in general, and compost in particular. Have you looked at these classics?

Thanks for the info. Just came back from the Texas Conference On Organic Production Systems (TCOOPS).
Guessing over 500 people attended. Which would be the largest thus far. Joel Salatin was a big draw.His presentation "Everything I want to do is illegal" was right on the mark. Met a lot of old/new friends. Always nice to be around like minded Farmers/Ranchers. Came back with some new ideas to try.

Joel is a great speaker! I was at a keynote session where the crowd got wild and started chanting "Joel for President". :clap:

I did not enjoy his seminars as much. I guess I am not a marketer at heart.
