Newborn with leg injury?

Found a new born the buzzards were after and I believe the stepped on his leg trying to keep the buzzards away. I really don't feel like there is a major break, mark on inside of leg maybe where it was stepped on. Seems like the leg bends a little too far the wrong way. Calf limps on it while walking. What would you do?

Put it with mom in a protected area/pen and leave it be.

She was the calf running around it from the looks of the ground trying to keep the buzzards away from it. I think she may have stepped on it, kinda of a scratch on the leg.

Would anyone suggest splinting it? Tried 3 vets so far today and one can come tomorrow and no return calls from the other two.
