Cow sired by homebred AngusxLimox bull. Sold her previous calf two days ago. At 15mo 2days age 1367lbs. She's the 3rd calf cow. Lost her 1st calf-heifer due to the long calving, was a pretty big calf for a heifer too- 111lbs. Now she calves very easy.

Two half sisters with Limox calves. Both producing top quality calves with high birth weights. One sired by AngusxCharx bull, another by AI Angus bull. Had their another half sister, but after two dead big calves in a row, culled her.

The last BBxdairy cow we've. 11years old. Only two daughters in the herd. Wish she would give us at least one more heifer.

Really want to increase BB blood in the herd. Now went quite into Limo. Searched for a purebred BB bull here, but appearently the only person, who had a couple purebred cows and calves have culled all and now there are no purebred Belgian blue catle in my country, except maybe for one or two bulls somewhere as some people had used bulls for crossbreeding.
Now don't have money for importing one from abroad ( min 4500€ just for a bull, plus trasportation), so as this winter gonna separate our Limo bull from cows and let him in only in spring, most likely will use some BB straws on some easy calving cows, hoping for heifers.

Don't think there's many people getting into BB, most seem to be getting out of them.
Seems there are more people getting in BB cattle, at least in United States after they improved the calving ease and birthweights in the BB cattle.

Well the US is -miles- behind the rest of the world.

Would like to get some BBx females for crossbreeding with Angus and Limousine for now. As our market needs more muscled cattle, BB is almost the fastest way to add more meat.

CharxLimox 1st calver, due with her second calf in winter. She is ~1650lbs or even more. Lovely animal. She has lost her dam at one month age and managed to survive and grow without our help until weaning. Has grown into a big girl.
