Nice truck to look at. My Dad bought a 86 long bed with that same set up. Could not spin the tires in low range when it was stuck in the mud. My son has a 79 with a 400 and 3.73 gears it will get the job done. Sure would like to find a nice body like that for his truck.

yeah that 3.08 dont please me... wish i had my first one back it had 350 with 4.11 posi with detroit lockers and could not stick it. my ex hit the curve down from the house and turned it over :cry2: if i keep it i might change the ratio, depends.. i wont be putting it in the places i use to..then have to constantly clean the differentails out and relube every thing ..to much work for me now
