I am considering entering the beef cattle business from my former years in the dairy business. It's been a while since I've been in the business. I've been impressed with the Simbrah breed and would like to know more about the breed from the perspectives of those that have dealt with that breed. I would especially like to hear from any Simbrah breeders out there. I am going to start small. I was thinking about starting with about five cow/calf pairs. Interested in your thoughts and ideas.... :D

Simbrah cattle are a great idea! Especially if you're in a warm climate.

We've been breeding them for 12 years here in Texas. We primarily sell replacement heifers and a few show calves. The nice thing about Simbrah is you can either run a Simbrah bull for purebred cattle, or use any good continental or english breed on them for some great terminal calves.

If you'd like to talk one on one about the breed, send me a private message and I'll give you my e mail address.
