My daughter's dad (didn't turn out to be my perfect match, but a very good Daddy) had what was thought to be a mild heart attack last week. He was re-admitted to the hospital ICU in the wee-hours this morning with blood clots in his lungs and is intubated now. She's an RN, so there's no buffaloing by the docs with her. Please put Rick and "his" in your prayers. Thank you!

No change. He's on drugs to keep him quiet, and he is -- out of it. DeAnna says that's good -- keeps him from pulling out tubes.

Daughter's dad is stable. He does NOT have clots in the lungs, but fluid around them, and a leaky valve. They are processing his labs, etc., in anticipation of open heart surgery on Thursday. His spirits are good; daughter is an RN at the same hospital, so she is watching like a hawk, and pleased with his care. So far, so good. Thank you all!

The tension/anxiety is high here this evening. Daughter's Dad had his open heart surgery earlier today, but they are back into his chest again now -- bleeding problems. Am not sure how big how big the basket of prayers needs to be to pull him through this, and keep him and his strong, but please keep throwing them in. Thank you, all!
