Unfortunately I'm out on work again but I received a phone call and accompanying text from my dad on June 10. My last calf of the "spring" hit the ground. She was late bred August 28 which put her due June 6. Dad said she was a lively little thing, running wild when he saw her. Makes me think she calved a day or two prior. Either way, healthy mottled face heifer calf. Very pleased to have all my cows calve out this year with no issue. She was bred to my neighbors Angus bull, who is currently running with my cows now.
Here she was last year when I got her with a steer calf, then heavy bred, and finally her calf this year:
