Is it hard to replace the chains on a the New Holland 853 baler? What are the pros and cons of this baler? Thanks

no its not all that hard if you have the book to help you.an some1 to help that knows how the chain goes on.if youve never replaced a chain.the hardest part to me is taking the bars off the old chain an putting them on the new chain.

I've got an 851 and I hate it. They are cheap, and easy to start a roll, and thats about the only pros. The 851 will make about an 800-900 lb roll on the best day. I would buy belt roller from the get go.
