6 heifers and 27 cows last Thursday. One heifer calved two days after getting here. Looks like a bunch of the "April" calving cows I bought will start a month early. We branded and vaccinated at the yards and put them with a few fall pairs and nurse cows at home.

Alberta heifers got delivered yesterday. They are green, ranch heifers that will weigh 900 lbs today. A few pounds of pea screening pellets and their bellies full of bullfrog alfalfa will do them fine. They are due to start on April 10 for two cycles, we will see how accurate their vet was.

Branded, ear tags traded old for new, scour and blackleg vaccine for the 62 Alberta heifers today. They worked well.
