Had extra large calf born. Normal birth other than having to pull him.He walks flat footed on back feet. Will he outgrow this?

Yes...most likely he'll outgrow it. Generally because of an awkward position in the womb

Have experienced the same situation on several occasions, all involved rather large calves. In all of the cases, except one, the muscles, tendons and ligaments strengthened enough in several days to support the weight of the calf, i.e. the legs straightened out. Only in one case did we have to make braces. If it goes more than several days, consult your vet.

calf is doing much better now. Gave him a shot of ADE. Thanks for the responses
