I have a first calf (Show me Select black heifer)I purchased in November. She calved yesterday and her calf was born curved from the middle of her back and walking on its back hocks. I have never had anything like this before.I was wondering if it would grow out of it.

This can occure in any cow herd, the calf is bent<br>from being poorly positions in the uterous, and with proper<br>usage of his/her limbs the problem will straighten itself out.<br>The bones of the developing calf/ or any infant for that matter<br>are soft and semi flexible, give the little bugger some time and<br>I'll bet he straightens out just fine.<p>Michelle @ [email protected]<p>
