One of my heifers had this calf last night. its a bull, looks like his daddy (the beefmaster) dont he?

i figured when they "roan out" like that its that shorthorn blood coming through but could be brahman too i guess, every once in a while one will brindle up. Sure wish that one had been a heifer though...

Thats one thing I like about Beefmasters so many good cattle in the woodpile Herefords, Bramers and Shorthorns makes a pretty pasture.
 
its never boring, thats for sure. i'm not real big on paints but i like the roans, duns, and red white faced ones. crossing with angus with pretty good results now too.
 
less than 24 hours in the pictures.

Here is another. I'll take heifers like this all day long and twice on sunday.
