When I got the bull home I noticed he has what looks like a slightly white cloud across the center of its left eye. There is no tearing or anything else. It is not noticable except upon close examination. Does anyone know what could have caused this and is it something to be concerned about. I did not notice just 2 days before, but I might not have looked as close as I am now. Thank you for the help.

Could be possible that he has had a case of pinkeye and that it was bad enough before it healed to leave a white spot in his eye. If you're pretty sure it wasn't there before keep a close watch on it to see if it gets any worse if it does call your vet.

I support the pinkeye theory - not uncommon for slight to significant lesions to be left on the eye. Should not be a problem. I had a bull with "white spots" on both eyes that he got when he was a calf (pink eye) - great bull, had him for like 6+ yrs! Monitor it of course, but I think the damage done & the impact negligible.
