I've been seeing it for at least five years.

Two of the last three sets of females I bought I'd tested for neospora ... and in both sets, at least one cow turned up positive. One set was in Wisconsin and one was in Illinois.

It's real thing.

Oh, and to be sure, the beef is fine to eat. The protozoa affects the reproductive tract only, not the beef.
