There are some who's word is still good. I like to think mine is anyway.

sometimes it's hard to find a good hand to shake though...some people handshakes mean the world to them...some people's dont mean squat

If someone treats me square I make sure everyone knows, by the same token, if the stick me I make sure everyone knows. Nothing real obvious, just dropped in casual conversation. It's amazing how quickly the word gets around on who is a straight shooter and who is a sharper.

The farmer that bought it agreed to sell me half the hay if I paid him what he paid.

Still havent seen the owner of the property that sold me the hay .

With hay prices increasing the way they are, its wise to be ready to haul when you deal. I saw this same thing fixing to happen last year so I borrowed a trailer and went and got the hay myself. Thank GOD for his protection!
