It has indeed been a strange year temperature wise here. 2022 and 2023 were scorchers, with it already over 100 deg F beginning in late May which continued all summer both years. We've only had a handful of days over100 degrees this year and a LOT of rain.

But, go West some, like over to San Angelo, and you have this:
