Join the National breed association, get their publications, STUDY PEDIGREES, understand EPD's, decide what you want to do with your herd - raise carcass animals, show animals, ??? or just be a multiplier. THAN, you can contact a REPUTABLE breeder or go to a sale of a REPUTABLE breeder or a state sale. But in order to purchase profitable cattle, you need to know what you're looking for. Jeanne
