NCBA to Hold Live Satellite Town Hall Meeting
NCBA Policy, BSE, Market Situation to be Addressed

The National Cattlemen's Beef Association (NCBA)
will host a Satellite Town Hall Meeting originating from Capitol Hill on
April 1 in conjunction with its spring policy conference. The 90-minute
live broadcast will include updates on NCBA's legislative and regulatory
efforts, particularly actions to reopen export markets for U.S. beef and
minimize the impact of new BSE regulations on cattlemen. NCBA's Spring
Conference runs March 31-April 3 in Washington, D.C.

NCBA President Jan Lyons, a producer from Manhattan, Kan., and Chief
Executive Officer Terry Stokes, will discuss NCBA's role in protecting the
livelihoods of American cattlemen and ensuring their opportunities to be
profitable in their businesses. Jeff Nalley, 2004 National Association of
Farm Broadcasters president, will moderate the live session that will also
include an economic, trade and policy update from NCBA Vice President of
Government Affairs Chandler Keys and Chief Economist Gregg Doud.

The Satellite Town Hall will provide cattlemen from around the nation the
opportunity to call in to a telephone number provided on screen with their
own questions or comments.

The Satellite Town Hall Meeting will broadcast live on RFD-TV from 7 p.m. to
8:30 p.m., Eastern Time, April 1. A tape of the show will be rebroadcast
three times on the RFD-TV channel at six-hour intervals, following the start
of the initial broadcast. The program will also be broadcast on Saturday,
April 3 at 4 p.m., Eastern Time.
