Navasota Livestock Auction burns

Navasota Livestock Auction burned Friday afternoon the day before their weekly sale. No animals were hurt, but the office and cafe were badly damaged. The cattle were moved to Mid-Tex Livestock Auction just down the road which allowed them to have their sale.

sorry to hear about the barn burning to some extent.hope they can get the repairs soon.an get back to having their sale.do they know how the fire started.

Newspaper reported it started in the restraurant.

Sad to hear about this. I spent quite a few times sitting in the auction arena area and hearing some rather good jokes from other patrons there during my 14 years that I lived in the Brazos Valley. It was just down the road from the actor, Chuck Norris' ranch. He had breakfast there quite a few times.
