Name that bull

It is nice to look through these old photos and say "what if"...but we all have to remember lines of cattle usually disappear for a reason...using some of these bulls today would give me nightmares. With the progress we have seen in the past 4o years I ask how many would want to go back to the cattle of Governor Turner or Old Man Patterson etc ????
 
I believe #27 was Beau D4 (carried the hypotrichosis gene and Nash's culled everything related to him)
#35's friend on the post is ADV Z146 ("Sassy" as he was nicknamed)
I should know #35, looks familiar - kind of Pacesetteresque.
 
I don't know if we can call too much of the last 40 yrs progress. Seems we've ruined some good cattle to chase the fads. A lot of herefords ain't herefords anymore!

Bull #16 is Plato Domino 43. Registration Number: 3080818
Bred by Neil Trask was a son of Plato Domino 1 out of the cow Lady Real 52 who was carrying 62.5% Prince Domino blood

3 year old post. Great history lesson on old time bloodlines. Almost as good (well not that good) as the Idaman stickie thread.
